Title:How to make a New Evo Siggy
Description:To give a basic idea for members to start making a siggy with cool effect.(Idea by Mayday:TY)
Requirement: Adobe photoshop, patient and creativity
Tested in:IE6, Fx2.0

Result:

Step 1: A picture from planet render

Step 2:Create a new document in PS size 350x100px with a black background.

Step 3:Create a radial gradient with a light and a dark color of your render :

Step 4:Make a new layer and add a couple of copies of your render at original size, until the background is completely covered. Than set all the layers on soft light :

Step 5: Make a new layer and resize your render. Duplicate your render 6 times. Make all those render layers invisible except the first one.

Step 6: With the first render layer active, smudge the render how you want and set the layer to multiply. Repeat this step on the second render layer:

Step 7: Make the 3th render layer visible -> filter -> distort -> wave (randomize it about 8 times and set the layer to soft light :

Step 8:Make the 4th render layer visible and select the erase tool. Choose a soft brush and slightly erase the edges to make it blend some more.

Step 9: Make the 5th render layer visible -> filter -> distort -> wave -> set the layer to lighten 40% (erase what you don't like !!!)

Step 10: Make a new layer -> image -> apply image (just press ok) -> image adjustments -> gradient map -> select a black/white gradient -> set layer to hue 20% :

* Step 11 - 17 are playing with adjustment in image.
Step 11: Make a new layer -> apply image -> adjustments -> photo filter -> deep emerald 40%

Step 12:Make the last render layer visible -> filter -> blur -> motion blur 200. Erase the face.

Step 13: Make a new layer -> apply image -> adjustments -> brightness & contrast -> 8 57

Step 14: New layer -> adjustments -> gradient map (using the colors of step 3) -> hue 20%

Step 15: New layer -> adjustments -> gradient map (black/white) -> hue 20%

Step 16: New layer -> adjustments -> brightness & contrast ( 17 14)

Step 17: Make a new layer -> apply image -> adjustments -> photo filter -> underwater 40%

Ur final should look like this:

For final touch add some text on it.

TIPS:The more u create new layer and filter or add other images /graphics the more complex it look and artistic. coffee

a very, very useful tutorial since i'm taking multimedia this semester..huhuhu thanx a lot! now i got an idea to finish my assignment..hope it can look like that..haha
